Happy Friday, book friends! It feels like approximately a year has passed since last furbaby Friday because it has been a WEEK.

Azula, who refused to go outside this morning due to the pouring rain, agrees.

We’ve reached midterm at the university where I work, which is a very busy time to be in charge of the care alert process. Add in a pain flare and a return of the shoulder issues that started my “something isn’t right here” journey to a diagnosis, and I am tired.

At this point Azula wants to point out that we did also have a few warmer, sunny days where mommy took her for some nice walkies. Which is very true, indeed.

We also didn’t stick to our normal sleep pattern. I’ve been waking up in the middle of the night (pain will do that) and Azula sometimes decides that must mean it’s morning even if it’s 2am.

Somehow, I still finished a book this week? Even if some of my usual morning reading time was spent napping on the couch with Azula, I breezed through the fast paced Sadie on a Plate. Hopefully, a review will be coming here soon!

In all, it’s been quite a long week, but Azula has been on the case with plenty of cuddles and kisses.
