Happy Friday, book friends! This week has felt incredibly long, and I still can’t believe it’s just now Friday.
The person who took over my old job when I got promoted was out of town, and so was my boss, and so was Andy. So, I sort of felt like a one-woman show for most of the week, which is probably why it felt like more than one.
Azula was very excited to see her dad when he got home on Tuesday evening, and so was I. And not even just because he normally does the dishes, a chore I despise.

Not much reading got done this week thanks to being so busy entertaining Azula. She is very much not in cuddle curl mode on weeks where Andy isn’t home with her during the day, so I spent a lot of Monday and Tuesday throwing her ball.
This weekend, Andy is traveling for work again, but Azula will get some excitement because a couple of friends will be visiting for my bachelorette weekend!

Will I finish another book this month? Signs point to no, and I expect a low reading month in April as well since the wedding is at the end of the month. It’s almost time to start plotting which books to bring on the honeymoon, though!
That’s pretty much it for this week! How was your week, book friend? Did it also feel like several weeks rolled into one?
I love seeing photos of Azula. And getting married is much more important than reading. Best of luck to you with all the preparations!
Thank you!
Azula is so cute. Congratulations on your upcoming nuptials! 🥂🍾
Thank you so much!
