Happy Monday, book friends! I am back from my honeymoon and headed back to work. I’m feeling a little bit overwhelmed after a week off, but excited to roll into this new chapter of life post wedding. Imagine what I will do with all that free brain space!
The garden is blooming, the sun is shining, and it feels a little bit like I left in one season and came back in another. I am so excited it’s finally outside reading season here in PA.
On top of the extra sunshine, my book collection got a few new additions over the last week between book store visiting on vacation and some book mail.

My Authentic Books box showed up while we were away and got deeply soaked with all the rain. Sadly my copy of Lessons in Chemistry bore the brunt of the rain and is a little worse for wear, but definitely still readable!
I also received a surprise book gift in the form of my friend Laura Eppinger’s latest, When The Hermit Appears. I’m all about books with tarot as framework so I can’t wait to dig in.
On the shopping side of things, I grabbed Anti-Diet and The No Show while in Burlington. Both have been on my TBR for a while so it feels good to add them to the stack.
That’s it for this week’s book mail and bookish additions! Have you gotten any new books lately?
I hope you had a great wedding and honeymoon Amanda! I’m sorry to hear your books got wet but glad they are still readable. Have a great week!
Thanks so much! Hope you have a great week, as well!
Congratulations on your marriage! I loved Lessons in Chemistry and The No Show, hope you do too!
Thank you!
