Happy Friday, book friends! We’re now two full weeks into the fall 2022 semester, and I’m settling into the routine of being much busier during the week.
My one day a week of working from home resumed this week, after a few weeks of being on campus every day for orientation and general start of the semester stuff. Azula was so excited to have me working at home, where she can snuggle with me while I work.

I’m also back into a good reading routine, with a few quiet nights where I got to relax with my book while Andy played Call of Duty in the basement.
In all, it’s been a pretty standard, albeit busy, week for Azula and me. She doesn’t know it yet but we’re in for a hectic weekend. We’re dog sitting my husband’s parents’ dog, Dewey. He’s a bit sweet golden retriever and Azula loves nothing more than to jump on him and try to get him to play.
We’ll see how much reading I get done this weekend with all that doggy chaos in the house!
I hope you’ve had a great week and that you’ve got a good weekend ahead, book friends!
Sounds like a good week, AmandaKay. Getting back into a routine was always a good thing for me when I was working. Enjoy your doggy shenanigans this weekend.
It sounds like you’ve had a great week Amanda. There is nothing like getting back into a usual routine. I hope Azula and Dewey have a wonderful but not destructive time playing together! Have a great weekend.
I’m glad your work is started to settle down. I hope you and Azula enjoy dog sitting!
Oh it sounds like you’re going to have a fun doggie play-filled weekend! I hope you get a chance to relax, too!
