What a week it’s been! I’m not sure what’s going on out there in the universe right now, but oh boy are the vibes off. Work has continued to be super busy, and on top of that we had the whole broken down car debacle on Wednesday morning.

Hectic energy aside, it’s been a pretty standard week for Azula and I in terms of our morning and evening routines. Tuesday night, I watched the second week of Great British Bake Off with my fantasy league friends (my team is doing okay–not first, not last). Otherwise, I was home with Azula snuggled up and enjoying the cooler weather.

I’m gearing up for my weekend away by downloading audiobooks for the trip and mentally preparing to not see Azula for two days. I’ve got Something Wiler by Christina Lauren lined up for the trip and intend to beg my husband for snaps of Azula whenever possible.

Around the house, we’ve done a bit of seasonal cleaning and I’m getting ready to decorate for the Halloween season (including some ideas for the Little Free Library and the blog!)

I can’t wait to start my spooky season reading and Blogtober, so I’m definitely feeling that end of the month eagerness to turn the page of my planner more than usual. I also keep telling myself October will bring a slowdown at work, but we’ll see what happens!
