Happy Monday, book friends! We’re really in those end-of-year vibes now, and it will be 2023 before we know it. I, for one, am looking forward to a relatively quiet holiday week this year.
No new physical books came along this week, so I thought I’d highlight a few recent additions to my NetGalley shelves for today’s book mail Monday. As much as I’m trying not to request too many new titles until I get through the ones I have, every now and again I see one I can’t resist.
Many thanks to NetGalley and to the publishers for these digital review copies!
The Rom-Com Agenda by Jayne Denker (Out January 10, 2023)
I can’t resist a classic rom-com setup, and this book sounds like it will deliver. There’s a scheme to makeover the male lead so he can win back the girl. But… what if he catches feelings for the woman who’s helping him learn to be a better man?
Not Here to Stay Friends by Kaitlyn Hill (Out April 4, 2023)
This is billed as a “friends-to-lovers spin on The Bachelor.” Even if I don’t watch the popular “reality” TV show, I can’t resist a pitch like that.
The Friendship Breakup by Annie Cathryn (Out February 7, 2023)
I’m a big proponent for more stories about the intricacies of friendships. This book follows Fallon Monroe, who is suddenly and inexplicably abandoned by her friend group, leaving her to question what went wrong… and how to win them back.
I won’t be starting on these books any time soon since I’ve got a little more time to make a dent in my holiday TBR, but I am excited to head into 2023 with plenty of exciting books on my shelves both physical and digital.
What new books have you gotten excited about this week?
The Friendship Breakup was one I had my eye on. I like stories about female friendship (good, bad, whatever). I will be interested in your thoughts.
I look forward to sharing my review!
I read The Rom-com Agenda and liked it, but didn’t love it. It is cute! I hope you. enjoy it.
Thank you!
These all sound like they will be wonderful stories, AmandaKay. I hope you enjoy all three of them.
