Top 5 Tuesday: Books I Will Definitely Read in 2023

Happy Tuesday, book friends! We’re back with another Top 5 Tuesday.

Top 5 Tuesday is a weekly meme created by Bionic Bookworm, now hosted by Meeghan Reads. If you’re interested in participating, check out their blog to get the details and the prompts for each week.

This week’s topic is “books I will definitely read in 2023.” I can feel the TBR cart in my office upstairs glaring at me from here, as I’ve got way more than five books I need to get to this year. But I’ll go ahead and pick the five I’m most confident about getting to.

Well Traveled by Jen DeLuca

I’m reading this one right now, so it’s kind of cheating. But, I can’t believe it’s taken me so long to get around to the next installment in Jen DeLuca’s ren fest romance series. Reading it in January is a bit sad, as I can’t run off to the Pittsburgh Ren Faire until September, but I’m enjoying it.

Initiated: Memoir of a Witch by Amanda Yates Garcia

I started this one last year, but I only got a few pages in before I wandered off and didn’t pick it up again. I want to actually get to it this year.

Love on the Brain by Ali Hazelwood

Rude of Hazelwood to have another book coming out this year when I still haven’t managed to read her previous one. Guess I need to try and catch up.

Lease on Love by Fallon Ballard

I just had to buy this one at Half Price Books. Yet here it sits, many months later, unread. I’m going to do it, I swear.

Wild is the Witch by Rachel Griffin

This is one of the Witchtober TBR books I left behind back in October when I was far busier than anticipated. Really want to get to it this year, probably sometime in the winter.

All right, those are my five books to for sure definitey 100% read this year. It’s up to you all to hold me to it. What books are you confident about getting to in 2023?
