Top 5 Tuesday: Top 5 First Kisses

Happy Tuesday and happy Valentine’s Day, book friends! My husband and I are going to go out for an early dinner at my favorite local burger joint, Burgatory. They serve my absolute favorite veggie burger, so I am excited.

But first, another Top 5 Tuesday! Top 5 Tuesday is a weekly meme created by Bionic Bookworm, now hosted by Meeghan Reads. If you’re interested in participating, check out their blog to get the details and the prompts for each week.

This weeek’s love-themed prompt is “top 5 first kisses.” I have a terrible memory, so it’s going to be tough for me to recall my favorite first kisses especially since I read so many romances. But, I’ll give it a go!

Alex and Poppy in People We Meet on Vacation

I am all about the friends to lovers buildup when it comes to a good first kiss, and this one delivered.

Harper and Theo in How Not to Fall In Love

Friends to lovers, plus LARPing. What’s not to love?

Tiffy and Leon in The Flatshare

I adore this book and this pairing. That is all.

Emily and Simon in Well Met

Fully confess it’s been so long I can’t actually remember how this one goes down, but I recall every moment of this read being swoon-worthy.

Danica and Zane in Hawksong

I can’t leave out my favorite love story from my teenage years, a marriage for political reasons that becomes a real life love story. Their first kiss here would be the first real one that isn’t for show.

I’m confident I left out some truly spectacular first kiss moments here, but these are the ones that came to mind for me. Hope you have a great Tuesday whether you celebrate Valentine’s Day or not!

  1. I hope you enjoy Valentines Day. We’re having a big snowstorm, so I’m glad we didn’t go out! Nice list. I loved Well Met and The Flatshare
