Happy Tuesday, book friends! I’m here with another Top 5 Tuesday post today.
Top 5 Tuesday is a weekly meme created by Bionic Bookworm, now hosted by Meeghan Reads. If you’re interested in participating, check out their blog to get the details and the prompts for each week. This week, we’re making a poem using the spines of books from our shelves. This gives me flashbacks to Intro to Poetry in college, which was easiy my least favorite required class for my major. Nevertheless, we’re going to try and have fun with this one!
Okay, here’s my book spine poem:
Weyward
Early Morning Riser,
Just Listen.
This Time Next Year,
We Could Be Heroes.
Honestly, not half bad if I do say so myself! This was a different twist on Top 5 Tuesday and I enjoyed the challenge, even if my dog had questions about what I was doing grabbing books from the shelf so early in the morning.
Do your book spines make any interesting poems? Let me know!
