Hello, book friends, and a happy last day of March to you! It’s been a pretty quiet week for me, as I’m in the midst of my cycle and therefore also a pain flare. I’ve spent the last few days on the couch huddled up with blankets and nurse Azula, plus a good book. I always get a little restless when I don’t feel well enough to be as active as usual, so I’m looking forward to having my energy back soon.
I’m also back on a Sims kick, playing the Strangeville expansion for the first time. I’m determined to solve the mystery of the secret lab and the plant things!
My virtual running club has started another month long race, which means I’ll be trying to walk/run 6.2 intentional miles every single day. That feels daunting as I sit here waiting for my Ibuprofen to kick in, but I love the motivation to move and raise money for charity! This time around, my team is supporting Nowzad, a charity that provides aid for animals in countries impacted by war.
I’m also going to see the Dungeons & Dragons movie tomorrow, and I’m so excited! I hope it’s as good as I’m hearing it is, especially since I’m dragging my friends to see it with me as a belated birthday celebration.

You and Azula look nice and comfortable. I hope you feel much better soon
I hope you are feeling better. It’s always terrible to be sick (even if you have a great nurse). Good luck with the running. You can do it!
Thank you!
I am reading this a few days after you posted, so I am hoping you are feeling better. Azula must love having you there to snuggle up with.
Thank you, Carla! I am feeling quite a bit better!
