Happy April Fool’s Day, book friends!

No jokes from me today, just your weekly helping of book news. And it is very on brand book news for Your Book Friend, with some Kerry Winfrey and Emily Henry excitement. It’s all coming up Ohio writers this week, and I am stoked.

Cover for Kerry Winfrey’s Christmas Rom-Com Revealed

There may come a day when we don’t cover every scrap of Kerry Winfrey news here at Your Book Friend, but today is not that day! Winfrey took to Twitter on Monday, March 27th to reveal the adorably festive cover for her newest book, Faking Christmas

To say that I am excited to see Winfrey take on the holiday rom com genre would be an understatement. It’s time for Christmas in Ohio, and I am stoked! You can read more about the book (and preorder it, which you obviously should) here.

Emily Henry’s Book Lovers is Going to be a Movie

Henry took to Instagram on March 28th to announce that Tango is set to produce a film adaptation of Book Lovers. Obviously, not much about the project has been announced, but we do know that Sarah Heyward is attached to adapt the script.

People We Meet on Vacation is also in the process of being adapted for film, so this means we’ll be getting at least two Emily Henry inspired rom com movies in the future!
