Top 5 Tuesday: Books That Need More Merch

Happy Tuesday, book friends! Or should I say, happy Top 5 Tuesday? Top 5 Tuesday is a weekly meme created by Bionic Bookworm, now hosted by Meeghan Reads. If you’re interested in participating, check out their blog to get the details and the prompts for each week.

This week’s prompt is “Top 5 Books I want more merch for,” which should be an interesting one. I feel like I don’t really read many of the books that get a ton of merch, which seem to be a lot of fantasy reads. I am all for bookish goodies, so let’s see what I can come up with.

The Well Met Series by Jen DeLuca

I have seen a handful of t-shirts and stickers for this series, but I need more! There’s so many opportunities for fun Ren-Fest themed goodness, which I would buy with a quickness.

H is for Hawk by Helen Macdonald

Is it weird to want merch for a memoir? I’d love some of the profound quotes from this one on a t-shirt, or maybe some irreverant jokes about getting really into falconry.

Tomorrow and Tomorrow and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin

I’m sure there is merch for this book around there somewhere, but I haven’t seen it. Give me the video game / bookish mash up merch, please and thank you.

Basically Anything by Emily Henry

Again, I’d be shocked if there isn’t merch somewhere, but give me the Emily Henry quotes on t-shirts and tote bags, etc, please and thank you.

The Mediator Series by Meg Cabot

I adore these books, even all these years later, and I want merch.

That was honestly harder than I expected. I feel like a book needs memorable quotes or characters or images in order to inspire merch, and my morning brain just can’t seem to come up with any ideas. What books do you want merch for?
