Happy Friday, book friends! It’s been a slow, long week for my husband and I, and we were both pretty amazed to realize yesterday was only Thursday. That doesn’t mean it’s been a bad week, just one that seems to keep on going.
I’ve enjoyed the warmer weather and getting familiar with having central AC for the first time since I moved out of my parents’ house. Azula has gotten to spend a lot of afternoons sitting outside in the sun while her dad works on the porch, and a lot of evenings looking out the window to patrol for groundhogs.
This weekend, I’m attending a virtual conference so I’ll be spending a lot of time in front of my computer, but it should be a fun time. Likely means I won’t get too much reading done, but I’m okay with that as even a major introvert like me does enjoy engaging with other people some of the time.

Enjoy the warmer weather for me! It’s just barely starting to warm up here, and I’m already relishing the sunshine again!
It’s warming up here a bit and then dropping next week. I’m definitely enjoying what I can though! Have a great weekend!
It has been in the 80s here and I haven’t turned the AC on yet, but if it keeps up, I will. Yes, Azula looks small in those pics. She must love all that space to wander. Enjoy your virtual event.
