It’s Tuesday once again, which means it’s time for another Top 5 Tuesday! Top 5 Tuesday is a weekly meme created by Bionic Bookworm, now hosted by Meeghan Reads. If you’re interested in participating, check out their blog to get the details and the prompts for each week.
Fire is a tough element for my Pisces soul, but I’m going to try and think of books where fire plays a part in the plot in some way. Okay, let’s get started!
Little Fires Everywhere by Celeste Ng
Starting with an easy one, because it’s right there in the title.
The Mediator: Twilight by Meg Cabot
If you know, you know.
The Once and Future Witches by Alix E. Harlow
Ditto above.
Magic Lessons by Alice Hoffman
I honestly can’t remember much about this one, but I’m fairly confident that fire is a part of it. Probably.
The Princess Bride by William Goldman
Fire swamp, anyone?
Okay, that wasn’t as hard as I expected it to be! I managed to find all 5 books just by looking over at my fiction bookshelf in the corner of the room, which is impressive if I do say so myself.
Nice job, Amanda. I thought of two off the top of my head, now I am trying to think of three more.
The only one that came to me right away was Little Fires Everywhere, probably for obvious reasons. Looking forward to seeing what you come up with!
Just posted.
Great choices Amanda. I’ve never read The Princess Bride although I’ve seen the film several times.
I love the book! They captured its humor beautifully in the movie.
great one
